Seven Hills Venture Partners Ltd appoints
Jeremy Delmar-Morgan
as Non-Executive Chairman
Seven Hills Venture Partners Ltd, the Edinburgh-based life sciences development company, has appointed Jeremy Delmar-Morgan as non-executive chairman.
The company’s board of directors, currently consisting of founders Alan Muir and Brad Hoy, expect that Mr Delmer-Morgan’s appointment will enhance the company’s ability to raise funds and realise its goal of generating significant investor returns from undervalued and under-funded life science assets.
Mr Delmar-Morgan has had a long and distinguished career as a stockbroker. Having joined Teather & Greenwood in 1979, he became senior partner in 1992, chief executive in 1998 and chairman in 2000. He is presently non-executive chairman of stockbrokers Hichens Harrison & Co.

Established in 2002 by Alan Muir and Brad Hoy, Seven Hills aims to use the extensive financial expertise and life sciences experience of its Board of Directors to provide existing and future shareholders with attractive financial returns from life science business opportunities. This includes the funding of the development of life science product streams with significant potential revenues.

• Mr. Delmar-Morgan was born in Scotland in 1941, received an MA from Cambridge in 1963, and became a member of the Securities Institute in 1985. He is also Chairman of the Brendoncare Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the London Symphony Orchestra.
• Mr. Delmar-Morgan was the official driver for Porsche during the 1960’s and has co-driven around the world with Paddy Hopkirk, remembered for winning the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.
• Mr Delmar-Morgan founded Opera del Mar in 1995 with soprano Irmgard Elisabeth Berry to give young singers the opportunity to appear in professional performances of fully–staged operas.
